The National Weather Service issued a coastal flood statement for southwest Fairfield County for Monday from 10 p.m. until 12 a.m.
WHAT’S NEW: Storm Watch Meteorologist Michele Powers says conditions are mild and muggy with a mostly cloudy sky. It will be warm and humid on Tuesday and Wednesday.
WHAT’S NEXT: Rain and a few thunderstorms return on Wednesday. There is a risk of some heavy rain early Wednesday with a few thunderstorms mixed in. There will be showers on Thursday and Friday. Next weekend starts out dry and cool, but there could be more rain for Sunday, Mother's Day.
TUESDAY: Mostly sunny and warm. Highs between 72 to 77 degrees.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy. Rain and thunderstorms. High of 74 degrees.
THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy with rain. High of 60 degrees.
FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy. Risk of rain. High of 57 degrees.
SATURDAY: Partly sunny. High of 60 degrees.
SUNDAY: Partly sunny. Showers. High of 65 degrees.
MONDAY: Mostly cloudy. Showers. High of 70 degrees.
