Two Milford residents have reunited with lost items and made a new friend in the process.
A couple of friends were jumping off a pier at Walnut Beach Monday when one of them realized he lost his Apple Watch in the process.
He spent hours searching for it with his mother, Lindsay Benak, and his phone kept pinging that it was in the area, but they couldn't find the watch.
By Wednesday, Benak's sister came to help and while she was searching, she realized she had lost her anniversary ring underwater.
After losing nearly all hope, archeologist Robert Brenner came to the rescue.
They all met up Thursday to search the area with the help of Robert's metal detector and found the ring and the Apple Watch in less than 10 minutes.
Brenner wants to continue helping people find their lost treasures, no matter how big or how small.
