Cheshire police say a woman who was an apparent hoarder was discovered dead in her home following a collapse.
They say they believe she was killed when the clutter on the first floor of her home collapsed into the basement.
Officials say they found Beverly Mitchell, 66, on Saturday when a backhoe was removing debris from her home.
Police say Mitchell had declined offers of help from social service officials over the years.
