Five people are out of their home after a car smashed into a building and burst into flames.
It happened around 3:30 a.m. on Stewart Street in Bridgeport.
The fire spread to two apartments where elderly and disabled people were living.
Officials say the driver lost control of her car, drove through a fence and hit the building.
Firefighters say the car caught fire and the flames spread to the roof.
