There was chaos and injury at a massive Boy Scout event in Orange today after a large tent collapsed. Authorities say a microburst descended on ConnJam 2012, injuring 10 people and sending six to the hospital when the powerful gust of wind brought a tent filled with dozens of people crashing to the ground. Officials say at least one of the people injured is a Scout. The event, which was held at Orange Fairgrounds, was the largest of its type ever held in Connecticut. Officials say there were thousands of well-trained Scouts to help handle the emergency, and they did. Witnesses say they will never forget the strange ordeal or the many young heroes who rushed to the rescue.
