Fairfield breaks ground on new affordable houses on Greenfield Street

The CEO of Habitat CFC says there's a list of approximately 50 families waiting for homes.

Fairfield town leaders celebrated the start of construction on new affordable homes.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Greenfield Street Thursday where the Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County will build four units.
This is the organization's first partnership with the town of Fairfield. Those interested in applying will have to take financial literacy and other homeowner courses.
