Fairfield says it is experiencing a shortage of school bus drivers, which is causing some issues with transportation to and from school.

The town says it's part of a national shortage that's impacting their contractor First Student.

Fairfield says while the situation persists, some of the routes being combined are causing delays and leading to errors in the school bus tracking app.

The town says it is working to resolve the issue.
