Foxwoods CEO Felix Rappaport has asked Connecticut lawmakers to allow casinos to sell alcohol 24/7.
Rappaport cites other areas, such as Atlantic City, which allows drinking 24/7, and New York, which allows casinos to serve alcohol until 4 a.m.
Officials say Connecticut casinos must currently halt alcohol sales at 1 a.m. on weekdays and 2 a.m. on weekends.
Rappaport maintains that the current law puts Connecticut casinos at a disadvantage due to the decreased volume of alcohol they are legally allowed to sell.
Liquor law exemptions were originally brought up in 2008, but no laws were passed or adapted.
