STAMFORD - This afternoon a judge told the Stamford man accused of leading police on a chase and then hiding in a home he won’t be getting out of jail any time soon.

Authorities say Frank Toth, 27, led them on a high-speed chase after they tried to pull him over for a drug deal yesterday.

Toth eventually fled from the car, running into a home near Stamford Hospital. He then tried to barge his way into a nearby home to escape. The man who lives there with his two children, kicked Toth out and police caught him outside.

Toth was on parole. Investigators say he was previously arrested on drug charges in 2008 and then fled to Detroit, Michigan.
