World-renowned chef Gordon Ramsay was hospitalized after a bike accident in Connecticut this week.
In a video posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, Ramsay said he was taken to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London.
"It really shook me, and honestly, I'm really lucky to be here," Ramsay said in the video.
The chef thanked the hospital for their care and urged viewers to wear helmets. "It's the reason I'm here today," Ramsay said.
Ramsay did not provide specifics about the accident.
