Isaias causes power outages, downs trees in Connecticut
Isaias moved quickly up the East Coast, leaving behind power outages and downed trees throughout Connecticut.
Gov. Ned Lamont says the storm was not as bad as Sandy. Lamont says Westport was hit hard with more than 90 percent of people without power.
Flash flood warnings are also in effect for Litchfield County and northern New Haven and Fairfield counties through Wednesday morning.

A coastal flood warning will be in effect for much of the coast of Connecticut through 2 a.m. Wednesday. High tides are expected to be several feet above average, but could be larger depending on the storm surge.
Isaias was categorized as a hurricane as it made landfall over the Carolinas. It had gone from being a hurricane, to a tropical storm and back to a hurricane.
