A homeless man, who police say ran a car theft scam throughout Connecticut and New York for the past year, went before a Stamford judge today. Authorities say Ramon Colon, 51, would see a car for sale, arrange to take it for a test drive and then drive off with it, leaving behind the car he arrived in. Colon is accused of crimes in different cities and states, but police say he most recently targeted Stamford, snatching eight cars for sale. He?s being held on $165,000 bond.
