A Trumbull man who pleaded guilty to setting a Long Beach West cottage fire was given a suspended sentence and ordered to pay restitution.
The Connecticut Post reports 23-year-old Kevin Stewart agreed to plead guilty in exchange for a one-year suspended sentence. He will also have to pay more than $9,000 in restitution.
Stewart was arrested after witnesses told police they saw him smoking marijuana and burning a candle in one of the cottages.
