March 9-13 is National Flood Safety Awareness Week

The National Weather Service (NWS) has designated March 9-13, 2020, as Flood Safety Awareness Week.
Flooding occurs throughout the year across the United States. It causes more damage in the United States than any other weather-related event.
On average, floods cause $8 billion in damages and 89 fatalities annually. Now is the time to prepare our communities.
