March snowstorm begins in the Bronx

The March snowstorm has begun in the Bronx, a storm that is expected to blanket the area.
The borough spent Sunday bracing for what could be the area's worst storm of the season that promises to be messy.
Residents hit hardware stores for shovels and salt Sunday, and store managers encouraged Sunday shopping.
"Get enough stuff [Sunday] while you're here. It won't be here tomorrow," says Dave Flannery.
In preparation for a messy Monday morning commute, salt trucks have hit the roads, and residents say they're already preparing to wake up early to shovel.
