Monroe volunteer firefighter released from hospital following fall from roof during house fire

A Monroe volunteer firefighter was released from the hospital today after suffering a serious injury while fighting a fire on Old Zoar Road.
Monroe Volunteer Fire Department shared on their Facebook page that the firefighter had been released.
It states: "We are very pleased to share that Firefighter and EMT Jack Sheehan who was injured during a house fire on Saturday, was released from the hospital and is continuing his recovery from home."
Fire officials say Sheen was on the roof when he fell and landed on the deck of the home.
