One person is dead after an early morning fire at a high-rise apartment building near the Yale University campus.

Officials say the fire broke out around 4:30 a.m. on the sixth floor of the 17-story University Towers building.

They say at least five people were hurt, including two firefighters.

The building was evacuated and several residents were pulled off balconies as 35 firefighters...
