It happened around 6 p.m. yesterday evening near the corner of Cannon and Ward Streets.

NORWALK - One Norwalk resident is without a home after it went up in flames yesterday.
     
It happened around 6 p.m. near the corner of Cannon and Ward streets.
     
Smoke was pouring out of the upper level of the home.

Officials say the fire took them about a half hour to put out.
     
No word on what caused the fire.
