STAMFORD - Firefighters in Stamford are looking for the cause of an early morning blaze that badly damaged two apartments.

The fire broke out just after midnight on Wilson Street.

The flames were contained to the attic, but firefighters say the rest of the home was damaged by water.

The Red Cross is helping 11 people temporarily displaced by the fire. Residents are hoping the damage can be repaired soon.
