QUEENS - A 12-year-old girl from Stamford served up a special performance in front of thousands of fans at the U.S. Open last night.

Lucy Scorziello said she entered a nationwide contest to get the chance to sing there and was one of 12 kids chosen.

She sang "America the Beautiful."
