More than 15 people have been displaced after a fire destroyed an Bridgeport apartment building last night. Investigators are still trying to figure out what

BRIDGEPORT - More than 15 people have been displaced after a fire destroyed an Bridgeport apartment building last night.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what ignited the blaze at a third-floor apartment on Washington Avenue. Investigators say several other apartments were affected by smoke and water. Firefighters say no one was seriously hurt.

A spokesperson for the American Red Cross says the organization has found lodging for a number of displaced residents.
