15-year-old dies in Bridgeport shooting

The family of a 15-year-old girl fatally wounded in a triple shooting says she was an innocent bystander and the latest victim in Bridgeport's senseless

BRIDGEPORT - The family of a 15-year-old girl fatally wounded in a triple shooting says she was an innocent bystander and the latest victim in Bridgeport's senseless street wars. Authorities say the 15-year-old girl was shot in the head this morning at around 2 a.m. on a front porch on Brooks Street. She was with two friends who were also shot, but their injuries were not life threatening.Witnesses say two men fired the shots from a nearby street corner. Police say they fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle.
