2 arrested in Westport car break-ins

WESTPORT - Westport police have arrested two people in connection with a string of stolen GPS devices and iPods.

Police say they arrested 24-year-old Earl Rosen IV and 20-year-old Geneva Milne, both of Vermont, at around 1 a.m. after a brief foot chase near North Kings Highway.

Rosen and Milne are suspected of breaking into as many as 30 cars last night and stealing items from at least seven. According to authorities, both suspects admitted to committing the crimes.

Lt. Vincent Penna, of the Westport Police Department, says a confidential source tipped off police about the thefts.

Rosen and Milne are being held on $75,000 bond each and are expected to be arraigned Monday.
