2 Bridgeport men accused of robbing, beating man with bat

Two men are being held on $100,000 bond this morning following a violent robbery in Bridgeport. Police say Hector Orlando Ortega Garcia and Michael Sanchez

Two men are being held on $100,000 bond following a violent robbery in Bridgeport.

Police say Hector Orlando Ortega Garcia and Michael Sanchez attacked the victim at the intersection of Frank and Linen streets Friday.

Investigators say they hit the man with a baseball bat and a pool cue ball stuffed inside of a sock, then stole cash from him.

Police say they found the men and the weapons a short distance away.
