2 charged in drug bust

Police say the men were a major supplier of heroin in the state. (5/20/14)

BRONX - Two men from New York City are facing charges in Connecticut following a huge heroin bust.

Authorities say they recovered 53 pounds of heroin worth about $11 million.

They say agents found the drugs in two apartments in the Bronx last week.

Officials say they followed the men to Hartford where they say they were in the process of making a drug delivery.

Police say the men were a major source of heroin in Connecticut and throughout New England.
