BRISTOL - Two children died in a car crash in Bristol early Sunday morning.

Police say the children, ages 4 and 7, were in the backseat of a 2014 Nissan Sentra that crossed a double yellow line and hit a 2002 Ford Windstar head-on.

Two others passengers in the Nissan, including the children's mother, were taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

Two people in the Ford were also injured in the crash.

The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
