STAMFORD - Two firefighters injured battling a fire at a Stamford mansion last night have been released from the hospital. Fire officials say three department members were injured after losing control of a deck gun, which is used to put large amounts of water in one location. One of the firefighters refused medical attention.

Officials tell News 12 Connecticut that they faced many challenges with the fire because there was a lack of close fire hydrants.

Long Ridge Fire Chief Robert Bennett says the fire remains under investigation.
