STAMFORD - Police in Stamford are searching for those responsible for stabbing three people today.

Police say a Stamford High School student was walking across a football field when a group of men started to follow him. They say he was attacked with pepper spray and stabbed after leaving school property.

After responding to that attack, police say they were then called by Stamford Hospital officials and alerted to two more stabbings. Police say a man and a West Hill High School student were stabbed after leaving a basketball game.

Police believe both incidents are connected, but don't think they're gang-related.
