2 homes robbed in Westport

WESTPORT - Westport police are asking for the public's help in finding those responsible for robbing two homes.

Police have not disclosed the exact locations of the break-ins late Monday night. They will only say that two homes were robbed in the Northeast section of town, near Post Road East.

In both cases, the doors were unlocked and the residents were home at the time.

Police say the suspect or suspects took small items that could be quickly snatched, including cellphones and purses.
