STAMFORD - Two people were hospitalized after a multi-car pile up in Stamford earlier today.

The accident happened on Long Ridge Road, near the intersection of Wildwood Road, just after 8 a.m.

Witnesses tell News 12 the first car stopped short and several behind it could not hit the brakes in time.

The extent of the victims' injuries is unknown.
