BRIDGEPORT - Two men were hospitalized in Bridgeport after police say they were shot in a drug deal gone wrong.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Sunday on Iranistan Avenue.

Police say 20-year old Brandon Thompson arranged to buy marijuana from 21-year old Immanuel White, but it didn't go as planned and White pulled out a gun.

Police say White shot Thompson in the chest and then shot himself in the arm.

Both men were taken to the hospital.

Officers say no one has been charged yet, but they anticipate an arrest soon.
