BRIDGEPORT - Police say two people were injured, one of them critically, after a shooting early this morning at a nightclub in Bridgeport.

Police say the shooting happened at Club Delight on Barnum Avenue. News 12 Connecticut has learned that two people were getting into their car after a fight when multiple shots rang out.

One of the victims, identified as 42-year-old Rodney Spann, is in critical condition after being shot in the chest and neck. He is undergoing emergency surgery.

A second person who was shot was wounded less seriously and managed to drive himself and Spann to Bridgeport Hospital.
