NORWALK - Norwalk fire officials say that two men are recovering after their pickup truck went down a 70-foot embankment and into the Norwalk River.

The incident occurred at about 10 p.m. Sunday off of Perry Avenue. When fire crews arrived, one man had escaped the truck and climbed up the embankment, but the other remained on the roof of the vehicle.
