2 injured in shooting near Bridgeport nightclub

BRIDGEPORT - Police are on the hunt for the gunman who injured two people near a Bridgeport nightclub on Saturday.

Investigators say gunshots rang out by Allure Nightclub at the corner of East Main and York streets around midnight.

One victim, a 24-year-old male, was hit in the head as he sat in a car. Witnesses say the other victim limped to safety after being hit in the thigh. The identities of the two who were hit have not been released.

Officials say the victims were taken to Bridgeport hospital, where the first victim remains in serious condition. The second victim has since been released from the hospital.

Police say the investigation continues and so far, no arrests have been made.
