FAIRFIELD - Two men who state police say they caught with around 4,000 bags of heroin in Fairfield over the weekend appeared in court today.
The men, Arturo Diaz and Irving Colon, both of Brooklyn, were arrested and charged with possession and intent to sell. According to police, the heroin was worth about $60,000.
Police say they also seized two vehicles and $575.
Both men remain in jail on bonds totaling $1.5 million. They are scheduled to be back in court Aug. 31.
