BRIDGEPORT - At least two protests are planned this week in Bridgeport in response to the George Zimmerman verdict.

A pastor and minister at a church are organizing a peaceful protest for Tuesday and Wednesday.

The first demonstration will be held tomorrow at 5 p.m. on the steps of the U.S. District Court building on Lafayette Boulevard.

Another protest will be held by a Bridgeport mother and daughter from 6-7:15 p.m. Wednesday on McLevy Green.

Meanwhile, protests are also being held throughout the country, including today in Washington, D.C.
