STAMFORD - Two men were sentenced Friday in the brutal murder of a Stamford laundromat attendant.

Jimmy DeCrescenzo was killed at Uncle Buck's Laundromat in June 2012. 

Ivan Silva-Perez was sentenced to 25 years in prison, while Elmer Saenz-Machado was sentenced to 16 years.

The attorney for Silva-Perez made a request to the judge that his client be able to hug his child and mother before he left to serve his prison term. The judge denied that request.
