2 sought in Stratford shooting, robbery attempt

The shooting happened in front of the victim's house at 194 Victory St. Authorities believe the victim was targeted at random.

STRATFORD - Police are searching for the two men who shot a man during an attempted armed robbery Saturday.

The shooting happened in front of the victim's house at 194 Victory St. Authorities believe the victim was targeted at random.

According to police, the two suspects jumped the victim, pulled a gun on him and demanded money.

The victim was shot once in the abdomen and is listed in critical condition at Bridgeport Hospital. Police say the suspects did not get away with any money.
