NORWALK - Norwalk police are searching for a suspect after they say a Bridgeport man was shot multiple times outside a city housing complex.

Police say someone walked up to the passenger side of a car and shot the 24-year-old victim in the neck and abdomen. They say they do not believe the shooting was random.

The victim is listed in stable condition at Norwalk Hospital.

The suspect is described as a short male wearing grey sweat pants and a black jacket with either dreadlocks or braided hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call Norwalk police.
