3 dead in CT due to Sandy

MILFORD - At least three deaths in Connecticut are being blamed on Sandy.

The Easton Fire Department says a firefighter died after a tree fell on his truck last night on Judd Road.

The name of the firefighter has not been released.

Also, a swimmer is still missing in the waters off Milford. The Coast Guard says Brian Bakunas, 40, was last seen swimming in heavy surf near the Walnut Beach Pier shortly before 8 p.m.

Meanwhile, state police reported the death of a person in Mansfield yesterday after a falling tree struck three family members.
