3 Easton teens charged in possible ethnic hate crime

EASTON - Easton police say they are investigating a possible hate crime after a 19-year-old was attacked by three 17-year-olds Wednesday night.

Police say the incident began at a party on Lobdell Lane. The victim, who is Asian, says the attackers assaulted him, then followed him home and smashed the windows of his family's cars.

Police say they arrested the attackers a short time later, and also gave summonses to 17 underage kids who had been drinking at the party.

The victim says while he is still in pain and covered with cuts and bruises, he was not seriously hurt.

Police say each teenager is free on $5,000 bond.
