3 teens arrested in Bridgeport school break-in

BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police have arrested three teens they say tried to steal electronics from a school last night.

Police say they responded to the Dunbar School at around 11:30 p.m. after an alarm was tripped.

They say they found three 16-year-olds with a bag that had electronics and other school supplies.

A spokesman from the school system says a similar alarm went off at Central High School before the Dunbar break-in, but when officers arrived, everything seemed to be in place.

The teens have been charged with burglary and trespassing and have been released to their parents, according to officials.
