3rd arrest made in Fairfield home invasion

FAIRFIELD - Police say they have made a third arrest in connection with a Fairfield home invasion that targeted an elderly couple in September.

Police say 35-year-old Pedro Cruz, of Bridgeport, is one of three men who broke into the Park Avenue home. They say the trio of suspects got into the home, restrained the homeowners and stole jewelry and money.

Japhet Flores and Jorge Gonzalez were arrested Tuesday in connection with the home invasion, authorities say. Gonzalez and Flores are also wanted in connection with a similar crime in West Haven.
