BRIDGEPORT - Police are investigating four car fires that happened late Sunday night in Bridgeport.

The fires happened at around 11:45 p.m. on Dekalb Avenue.

Joshua Rivera lives across the street and says three of the cars were his.

Rivera says the fire spread from his new Volkswagen GTI to two Honda Civics, one of which he was fixing up for his teenage son. The Volkswagen was burned to the point that it had to be towed away.
