4 teens accused of armed robbery in Stamford

STAMFORD - Stamford police say they have four local teens in custody after they allegedly used a pellet gun and a knife to rob people in two separate incidents.

Investigators say one of the incidents happened near the corner of Crystal Street and Culloden Road. They say the other incident took place just blocks away from Quintard Terrace.

Police say in both instances the teens stopped their victims as they were walking along the sidewalk, and if they didn't have any money on them, they tried to slash them with a knife.

The teens all faced charges in juvenile court today, including first-degree robbery.
