FAIRFIELD - A 4-year-old is expected to be alright after falling from a window in Fairfield.

Neighbors say the child had been leaning against a screen on Howard Street last night when it gave way and she fell.

One neighbor says the child was alert and asking for her mother before she was taken to the hospital.

They say the child fell onto a bed of mulch and that broke her fall.
