NORWALK - Norwalk police say five people were arrested in connection with a violent bar fight at Club El Dorado yesterday.

According to authorities, the brawl was started by 19-year-old Angelica Busato, who hit people with an empty liquor bottle. A second suspect, 22-year-old John Gavilanes, grabbed the broken bottle and slashed a 35-year-old man with it repeatedly, police say.

The man sustained eye injuries so severe, doctors say he may lose his eye. Several others were also slashed by the suspects.

Police say this is the first fight to occur at the bar.
