REDDING - The 54th annual Mark Twain Library Book Fair is underway in Redding this weekend.

Officials say the fair is a great chance for kids to stock up on books for the new school year. They say it also serves as its largest fundraiser of the year.

Beth Dominianni, the library's director, says they have received a phenomenal amount of donations from the community, and are 25 percent above what they typically run through in a year.

The book fair will continue through Monday.
