FAIRFIELD - Seven teenagers are recovering Saturday after a one-car crash on the Merrit Parkway.

The teens, whose identities police declined to release, were injured when the car hit the median between exits 46 and 44 near the Merwins Lane overpass around 9:40 last night. Police say one of the teens was thrown out of the car.

The teens were treated on site by emergency crews and then taken to local hospitals.
