WEST REDDING - Seven inner-city kids will spend the next week-and-a-half on a farm in West Redding, thanks to generous donations.

For most of kids, it's their first trip to the countryside.

The children set off from Norwalk's Carver Community Center this morning and headed to New Pond Farm.

The children will pick fresh eggs, milk cows, swim, hike and explore the farm's 102 acres.

New Pond Farm pays for the camp so kids from the inner-city and other communities can experience a different life.
